Enna is in the perfet center of Sicily, and it is a very green land, it is called the lake province, and also the overlook of Sicily, for the incredibol view of all Sicily. The historical center of the town is very nice, with a castle and lovely monuments, but the thing that make it very fantastic is its surroundings.
Near to Enna there is in fact the beautiful Piazza Armerina where is situated the “villa del Casale” an masterpiece of the Romanic Era that is the Unesco Heritage with the most important mosaic of 3500 square metros of pavement of this little tiles that show wonderful draw of the Roman life.
Also in the Enna surrounding there is the nice Aidone “ the terrace of Sicily, and the ancient archeologicalpark of Morgantina, land of Cerere, the greak godness of fertility and the hart, where there was founded the famous “ venere di Morgantina” that until the 2012 was in the getty museum of Malibù, and now is housed in the Aidone Museum. Enna is also famous for the Sicily outlet village, the must shopping center of Sicily, located in Dittaino.
