Camilleri is one of the most successful Italian contemporary writers, brought into popolarity by the transformation of his books into a series known throughout the world: L’ispettore Montalbano. Nearby points of the film set are located in Sicily, homeland and much loved by Camilleri, in this case in the South eastern part of Ragusa.
Our tour will stop in Punta Secca to see the exterior of the house of Montalbano and Donnalucata (Marinella) to admire the beautiful waters where it plunges the Commissioner in his morning swims.
It will continue towards Ragusa to see the Vigata church (St. George's Cathedral) and other places that are the backdrop for television series, in particular the Palazzo Donnafugata and Conversation Club, where the episodes were filmed "The arancini Montalbano" and "the scent of the night".
