Springtime of allegorical floats blossoms in the town in the province of Catania, home of the most beautiful carnival in Sicily, with a festival dedicated to the symbol of spring: flowers.

The tradition of Acireale of cars and floats is more than a century long, yet the Flowers Festival offers new emotions and energy, especially those of associations that will contribute to the events in different ways. The flowered floats will parade in the afternoon of all three days, as announced by the artistic director Giulio Vasta, who during the conference illustrated the calendar of events, all oriented to dress in Acireale elegance and to enhance the floral theme among the architecture of the town. 
A wonderful spring festival organized by the Foundation of the carnival with many street artists, exhibitions and craft markets, typical dishes , miniature floats and papier-mache, parades, Flash Mob, music, concerts and event as scheduled, Museum Puppet Theater, colored confetti.
